God is Trending

Television shows this Fall season are putting almighty God in the limelight and giving people who have never thought about Him the chance to consider what it means to have a relationship with the Lord and hopefully that will lead them to accept Jesus as their Savior!

God is able to do ALL things - so much so that a human would come to the conclusion that everything that seemed impossible to his limited mind is very possible with God. Yay!!!

Manifest, which aired on NBC last night, is one show that I hope will continue to have a storyline that will intrigue me enough to turn on the TV each week to watch it.

Several other shows such as God Friended Me that uses social media as part of the plot may turn out to encourage viewers to seek out the Lord too.

Stay tuned - there just might be a modern day revolution, a Jesus movement a brewing! In my lifetime the 1970s were filled with mainstream radio music and performers who followed the Lord and were vocal about their beliefs. Seems like it is time for generations today to meet their Savior!

Christian groups have made headway in having their own music labels and music stations since the last century. How terrific that seeds are being planted in mainstream media that have the potential to create paths to lead others to the Good News of Christ.

It's a new day and it is always the Lord's day. His will be done! :)

2014 Movie - Winter's Tale

There are so many wonderful moments in this film. Certainly Winter's Tale is worth a look.

Themes of the film include:
Life's journey is complex, Good versus Evil is an ongoing battle and despite it all, Miracles happen.

Note - while rated PG-13, there is an intimate scene that could be fast-forwarded through as it is not so important to the plot. It is just there because the industry believes all movies should have that type of scene to have an audience. So untrue!

The story was very well thought out. It may be available for check-out at your local library or available on NetFlix.
