Spiritual Health

It's not just your body that needs to be kept healthy but your mind and soul too!

Check out this site to hear and view some wonderful sermons by some dynamic individuals:

(The Discipline of Delight on 8.28 was a good one as well as the one by celebrity sportscaster James Brown on 7.24 - What Do You Do When You Come to a Dead End?)

Not going to church lately? No worries - visit this link as sermons are shared every weekend via the web: http://live.mcleanbible.org/

What a wonderful technological day and age we live in!

Grace and Peace to you! <>< Laura

Inspirational Quote from HUGS

“You’ve got to continue to grow, or you’re just like last night’s cornbread: stale and dry.” – Loretta Lynn

Love those words. :)

Here is more information about the devotional book that featured them:

Outrageously Healthy Business!

It is so important to keep your body healthy.

What you consume and breathe matters; hygiene matters.

The indoor and outdoor environments that you work and play in dictate how well you live and how successful your body is in performing as it should, or would if it could!

My new friend Alyse is a part of this organization, whose tag line is "We help people get Outrageously Healthy"!

Flower Study

Flowers are so special...

depending on the setting where I am viewing them,

they remind me of memories past

or offer an opportunity to dream about what will be.

I thank God for them!

Beautiful Smile

“Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain,
laughter and pleasure, teardrops and pain.

All days can’t be bright, but it’s certainly true,
there was never a cloud the sun didn’t shine through.

So just keep on smiling whatever betide you,
secure in the knowledge that God is always beside you.

And you’ll find when you smile, your day will be brighter
and all your burdens will seem to be much lighter.

For each time you smile, you will find it is true,
somebody, somewhere will smile back at you.

And nothing on earth can make life more worthwhile
than the sunshine and warmth of a Beautiful Smile.”
